RAG is all the RAGe What is RAG? RAG stands for Retrieval Augmented Generation. It's a technique that makes Large Language Models (LLMs) even better. Basically, it involves giving the LLM specific industrial data to help it give more accurate and targeted responses. Why is it all the RAGe? Well, RAG lets us use the smart part of the LLM, called the reasoning engine. Instead of just relying on the random guesses from the generative engine, RAG considers the information we give it. This makes the responses much more reliable and trustworthy. As Girish Rishi puts it, "Probabilistic" works fine in a casino (sometimes), but not for running mission-critical energy, power and manufacturing sectors. In our blog post, Jason Schern explains how we use LLMs with RAG to get better answers when working with Industrial Data. #ArtificialIntelligence #LLM #CogniteAI #RetrievalAugmentedGeneration #Reliability #ChatGPT #AI #LargeLanguageModels #GenerativeAI

      Interview

I had three rounds of interviews including a project to complete before the third call. Everyone was very nice during our conversations and the recruiter was organized with our email communications to that point. After the third call, they didn't follow up and didn't respond to the multiple emails I sent trying to get an update. Not getting an offer is fine, but completely cutting contact after what I felt to be a pleasant and positive process was surprising and disappointing.
