    Laser Applications Engineer Interview

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Coherent (Bloomfield, CT) in June 2016.

    Interview

I was called in for an "informal" interview with the hiring manager, for a meet and greet with the company and position. I then received a call back for a formal interview, which included a team lunch and technical presentation. I rate this interview as one of the more difficult interviews I've been on, since they have you at the facility all day in both formal and informal settings.
