I worked at College of Marin part-time (More than 8 years)
The newly renovated campus is great and the student body is eager to learn. Faculty are knowledgeable.
Like all CA community colleges, the adjunct status means that your job is contingent on enrollment and you will forever be anxious at the start of each semester about whether or not you will have a job.
Advice to Management
Work harder to support part-time staff with with regular work.
I applied online. I interviewed at College of Marin (Kentfield, CA).
There was a committee of about 5-6 people and I was given 15 minutes to review the questions. They each take turns asking the questions. No one was smiling and it was intimidating. If you are good at interview it is a piece of cake. If you are not very good at interviewing with a panel of people it can be intimidating.
