    Positive Outlook

I worked at College of the Canyons part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Worked in the computer support department of the TLC lab. Wonderful management, friendly atmosphere, good pay and convenient for current students.

    Cons

Sometimes work gets slow, and other days it is super busy! (Think finals week...) May not be a bad thing if you're okay with fluctuating workload.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great job finding ways to hone current staff skills.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at College of the Canyons.

    Interview

I applied and received a call about 2 months later offering me an initial interview. Before my interview I had a 30 min skills assessment on Microsoft word and excel. Just looking things up online to help you for excel doesn't really help. They will ask questions directly correspond to the job position. It was not difficult though. After that I was given the actual interview questions and could write down any key points and I had 15 minutes with these questions. Once the interview time came around it was a 50 minute interview that consisted of 6 individuals and they each took turns asking me the questions. After this the next day I got a call offering me a 2nd interview which was a 45 min interview and I didn't get to see the questions before hand. They called me about a week later advising me they offered the position to someone else.
