Los Angeles Interns Tour One California Plaza
Peter Eichler and Brittenay Banh took the Los Angeles Interns on an asset tour of One California Plaza, which CLNS acquired earlier this summer in June. Our partners at Rising helped set up the tour which their interns joined as well.
It was a great experience and opportunity for the CLNS Interns to see a “real-life” example of a large commercial real estate asset that the firm has acquired, which they have been hearing about a lot (and it’s just down the street from the office!). They were able to view a few tenant spaces, go “behind the scenes” to see the operational areas of the building, go to the roof and hear about the overall DTLA office market.

Great advancement opportunities for those who work hard
You trade in a bit of work/life balance for the opportunities you are afforded - but, it's worth it if you want to move up
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Colony NorthStar (New York, NY) in September 2017.
Someone in HR emailed me to set up a preliminary call to discuss my background and skills. She called on time and was very personable and professional. She then sent my resume to a hiring manager and was very responsive and accessible during the scheduling process. I met with a panel of high level professionals and liked them very much but ultimately they decided it wasn't a fit. The HR recruiter was great as were the other interviewers.
