Great benefits, decent pay, generous PTO for salaried employees. Middle-Management (VPs) in tech are great to work with.
CIO lacks knowledge, micro manages employees, uses fear-based tactics to "motivate" and is disliked by entire department. Lack of telecommute options for professionals. Executive management seems detached from rank and file employees.
Advice to Management
Replace the CIO, find creative ways to engage rank and file staff, add telecommute options for non-customer service professionals who meet goals.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Columbia Credit Union.
2 basic interviews with on HR person and the department head. Background check and references are completely checked, you should always tell the truth, but here make sure you do!
