I have been working at Combined Insurance full-time (Less than a year)
Straight commission. There is no base salary but, I had to put something in the box in order for me to submit this review. There's tons of opportunity to make really great money in this business. The company has fantastic bonus money that you can earn rather easily, as long as you're following the sales success system. You have nearly full autonomy and you have the support of management, every step of the way. There's definitely room for advancement and the training is second to none. You get to sell supplemental benefits to individuals and business, unlike our competition....quack quack. Get it? Since they're leaving a lot of self-employed and 1099 people to fend for themselves, Combined Insurance is there to help! Bonuses can reach up to 3000.00 or more, per month and that's only the beginning! The possibilities are endless, pretty much!
The benefits structure needs to improve dramatically! Splitting the cost of benefits with the employees 50/50 just isn't going to get it done. Employees need to be valued at a much higher level than this. Employees are busting their back-sides to be successful and earn their living. The last thing we need to worry about is how we're going to pay our doctor or hospital bill, should the unexpected happen!!

The interview is really to find out if you have the personality to do the job. It is not a long process. However, after you should go out in the field for a demo, which can take a few hours. Learn from the experience if you can.
