Since the first wave of restructuring, the states that kept up that path and those that chose not to go down it have been fairly set in stone. But that has started to change recently with Nevada voters deciding to open their retail market last fall and California regulators looking at their retail rules after an explosion of behind-the-meter solar and community choice aggregation.

1958: Ranck Oil FoundedRed's Credo

It's unwise to pay too much... but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money... that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing that it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot… it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better.

~Red Ranck, 1979

We hire intelligent, friendly, and passionate people. We train them to be guardians of our customer's best interests. In doing so, we've been able to maintain a 92% customer retentionrate.

CE is growing: We're currently the largest third party energy supplier in PG&E's system.  We're poised to take more market share in Northern California and will duplicate this position within other markets here in California.

CE is on firm financial ground:  We surpassed $100MM in revenue in 2014 and have been profitable every year since 2004.  We have virtually zero debt and are backed by the world's largest energy bank.

CE offers great compensation.  Salespeople are compensated on a recurring revenue model.  Each new sales hire will renew existing clients (94% retention), identify and sell additionall products within these clients, and self-generate new logo sales.  There are NO caps on commissions.  This sales model ensures double digit income growth for the first three years with the company.

CE offers great benefits: matching 401k, full health and dental benefits, ESOP, and great training.
