Since the first wave of restructuring, the states that kept up that path and those that chose not to go down it have been fairly set in stone. But that has started to change recently with Nevada voters deciding to open their retail market last fall and California regulators looking at their retail rules after an explosion of behind-the-meter solar and community choice aggregation.

Commercial Energy – Why Work For Us?

Commercial Energy, the leading business-to-business energy sales company in Northern California, as a privately held business, has been profitable for the past nine years with over 20% organic growth year over year for the past seven years. We are committed to green energy as well as energy efficiency; in short we want our customers to have the best total energy package available. We are looking for career-minded, talented individuals to add to our proven team.

1958: Ranck Oil FoundedRed's Credo

It's unwise to pay too much... but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money... that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing that it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot… it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better.

~Red Ranck, 1979

One of the smartest group of people I've ever met. Clear and realistic expectations. You feel appreciated for your hard work. Intense onboarding process but you feel supported the entire time. Great management and everyone is always eager to help. This is a company where you can make a career.

If you are not willing to work hard, this may not be the right place for you. Expectations are high but your hard work does not get unnoticed.
