Thinking about becoming a school teacher or becoming a NP. Burnt out on patient care nursing and can't find office/desk position that doesn't involve working long hours/working weekends, etc as Don or supervisor because someone always calls out. I applied for a few strictly case management positions but they all said I don't have enough experience in that area. Thoughts? Pros and cons?

Does anyone know what is the average length of time to get a new EHR up and running? My hospital is on the smaller side and it’s going on 5 years for EHR implementation. Seems like an excessive amount of time and waste of money given the cost to IT consultant managing this project.

Hi everyone, question. How do I go about asking my FT job to match my PT weekend job pay. I have the opportunity to turn PT into FT but the environment is beyond toxic. 😫 PT is basically $5/hr more plus OT and offer every type of benefits while FT job I am salary, with most benefits but not for retirement, but I can handle the environment. 😥

Already a year and a half into my job a position opened up in which I would be able to switch from per diem to 24hour position and they’ve decided to go with an entire new person, I’ve addressed and repeatedly explain to them that I would love to switch over to 24 hours and think I would be a great candidate but NOPE not what they thought 🤦🏽‍♀️
