I worked at Community Boost Consulting full-time

    Pros

    - The unique & powerful experience of working directly with some of the world's leading nonprofits.
    - The company and its leadership are highly self-aware and open to feedback. They strive to create a culture of transparency that seeks to constantly self-refine any weaknesses present at the individual and systems level.
    - Extremely strong expertise in the digital space. Team members at Community Boost are Google AdWords, Analytics, and conversion design wizards who provide clients with irreplaceable value.
    - Each day at Community Boost is dynamic, unique & fun - presenting new challenges that lead each employee to experience constant growth. I personally enjoyed, and looked forward to, going to work each day.

    Cons

    - Some systems are not fully dialed in yet including training and formal tracking of account success.
    - Internal marketing and social media have room to grow.
    - Compensation does not always directly correlate to the level of work that is executed.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Community Boost Consulting (San Diego, CA) in May 2017.

    Interview

Focus on normal interview questions as well as other questions about why they want to work with nonprofits and causes that are important to you. This is a start-up that really wants to focus on the development of their employees over their time there.

    Interview Questions

    • "What's your why?"
"What causes are you passionate about?"
"What books have you read recently?"   Answer Question
