I worked at Comprehensive Community Action full-time (More than 5 years)
Great team of clinicians and great working at the health center with the medical team. Lots to learn from working with clients who have multi level problems. Some flexibility in scheduling.
Low pay, administrative changes occur sometimes without warning, people often are 'here one day and gone the next' Don't get sick for too long. Lots of paperwork with high demand for productivity. You can burn out easily if you don't set your own limits. Administration really doesn't care about you.
Advice to Management
Listen to staff, pay them well, let staff know ahead of time when there will be changes so adjustments can be made. Don't scapegoat people.
