I worked at Comptia full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

While working at CompTIA. I worked from a remote office. At the HQ, I had great peers and supervisors.

I've never seen such respect and dedication for work/life balance. Outside of the regular benefits, they offered many benefits that are not common (Pay for home ISP, cell phone, Costco membership, etc.).

    Cons

At the remote office, many of the staff did not respect administrative staff. They were often rude and impatient with them. They rarely were self-help.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Comptia (Chicago, IL) in February 2017.

    Interview

I interviewed for an intern Position. The HR initially called me for an interview out of the blue and was not able to attend the call. When I was not able to get in touch with the HR (HR didn't attend or return the call) when I followed up with a call for 2 weeks. Finally after 2 weeks when I called for a follow-up, HR attended my call and then and there took an interview. The interview was mostly about experience and an interview was scheduled at Downers Grove for an interview with the head of the department. After a month of follow-ups emails for the details of the interview, I get a call saying the role was scrapped. I understand business needs come first but it is very frustrating as the HR took forever to reply to an email couple with the incredibly slow process leaves a bad impression about the company.
