I worked at Comtech Telecommunications full-time (More than 8 years)
Tampa facility is filled with great people who were able to outperform their customer needs and quality
Company undercut it's revenue stream by letting go key revenue producers causing it to under perform on the sales and revenue side. Also, by pulling in revenue that was slated for future months, they created a gap in workflow. Company mismanaged consolidation of products due to one division trying to take only the large margin products and services and dumping other products that actually carried the company through slow times caused by the pulling in of revenue prematurely to contracts.
Advice to Management
I think they are actually positioning themselves for sale, so they are probably going to screw some poor company that comes in to buy them. Good luck guys.
I applied online. I interviewed at Comtech Telecommunications (Seattle, WA).
The first phone interview they mostly asked you about how you doing in each field, and then they will ask you some technical questions for example what are the OOP principles. The guy on the phone sounds really nice.
