    Positive Outlook

I worked at Concordia Partners full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The firm is well run and managed by a small group of dedicated managers. The management and owner(s) really care about the products and business practices at Concordia. I woke up every morning pumped to go to work and make a difference. I spent roughly 9 years at Concordia. The products work and the customers respond positively to Concordia's brands. My tenure at Concordia was all good.

    Cons

This is a direct marketing business and some positions are not as exciting as others.

    Advice to Management

Continue to hire good people. Continue to formulate outstanding products.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 6+ weeks. I interviewed at Concordia Partners (Portland, ME).

    Interview

Lengthy interview process based on behavioral questions. Process took about six weeks. Both skills and culture were emphasized, which I appreciated. The process included an initial phone interview, an in-person with my prospective supervisor, another round of in person interviews with prospective coworkers and other department managers, and a third round of interviews with the President and VP.

    Interview Questions

    • Behavioral interviewing can be challenging, so spend some time preparing and bring lots of notes and examples to share. Be prepared to answer using the behavioral interview format.   1 Answer
