    Pros

Concordia Publishing House has a clear mission that is evident throughout its processes. It's a special atmosphere when your co-workers are all focused on sharing the Gospel through the products they're developing. CPH employees are a close-knit family. We work together on projects, but also regularly worship and participate in devotions together. You truly get to know so many people at CPH. I don't know too many places where you can be on a first-name basis with the CEO and VP.

    Cons

I had a great experience here and am only leaving because of a more local ministry opportunity.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Concordia Publishing House.

    Interview

I submitted my CV (CPH was very clear they wanted a CV, not a resume) both digitally and through mail. Several weeks after the application deadline, I received a call from a HR representative and scheduled an interview for the next week. I Skyped with two supervisors from CPH's editorial department and the HR rep who called me. Several hours after the interview, I received a call from the HR rep, saying that I got the job!
