Pros

Great team of teachers, who you can definitely learn from and be yourself around. You are able to grow, but at you own pace. Bonuses are given, but it may not happen all the time; Some PD's are done

Cons

Meetings (PD's) can be long but have been changing a few and is on Fridays (Depends on the day or holidays);

Advice to Management

Create a schedule where teachers are able to leave early with students at 2pm every Fridays; Let every PD be remote or if certain meetings can be written up in an email, that can work as was.

  1. Family & Operations Coordinator Interview

    Application

    I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Coney Island Prep (United States) in Feb 2022

    Interview

    Applied online a week later was sent an email invited to do the first interview through HireValue. It is one sided virtual interview, that is timed and you only get two tries to get your recorded answer right. Somewhat stressful, but doable. After that was sent an invitation to do an in person interview a couple days letter, and was given prompts to complete beforehand. The interview was a full day of staff introductions, school tours, and a final interview. The final interview was a bit repetitive and focused on how candidate would manage family relations. A pleasant experience overall however what left a bad taste in my mouth is the radio silence that followed afterwords. I was told in the following week we'd get an update whether they decided to continue it has been three weeks with no update. This position was my top choice if accepted but because of the slow pace I decided to accept another offer.
