The company has great health benefits. They also have a great diversity programs to engage employees. Good opportunity to move around the organization.
Lower level management not trained on how to be good leaders. Many are placed in these positions based on who they know not what they know. Houston does not get all the extra benefits the employees at the corporate office are given.
Advice to Management
Start over!! Employee moral is down. There are many low cost options that can boost employee moral. Send leaders to mandatory leadership training courses.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Constellation NewEnergy (Houston, TX) in June 2015.
Applied through a recruiter. Interviewed in person in Houston with 1 manager and 2 Sr. Analysts. Was asked about previous billing and customer service experience. Was asked about Excel and ServiceDesk/CRM experience. Was asked about organizational, time management and collaborative tendencies/habits as part of a team. Overall very professional setting in interview, they are looking for individuals with decent quantitative skills, high attention to detail and curiosity.
