THE THREE COMMUNITIES WHERE WE WORK.
Portland, Oregon is home to our Corporate Headquarters and founding office. In addition to hosting our contact center, Headquarters is where you’ll find the company’s billing, IT, retail and marketing teams. Product packing, shipping and storage are also located at our nearby Portland distribution center.
Our largest office currently, the Redmond, Oregon contact center, opened in August 2012 and continues to flourish. The first Phoenix, Arizona contact center opened in 2010, and in 2016, we opened a second office. This location is rapidly growing and poised to become our largest employee community.

I have been working at Consumer Cellular full-time (More than a year)
I honestly love my job. My insurance is paid for. I get paid time off all the time (even more unpaid). I get as much overtime as I want. Thursday's are "optional" (flex day). My team is amazing. Management has always been wonderful. There's always room to grow and promote and they make it easy (if you work hard and take care of your customers). And I maybe deal with 1 awful person every 2 weeks. Most of my customers are lovely, patient, understanding people.
Yeah, the attendance policy can be tight. I get sick a lot but they've incorporated "make up time" where I can work one of my days off to make up for a day I miss, penalty free. They listen to their employees and they don't just set you up to fail. My dad died when I was barely out of training early 2016. They were so understanding and worked with me on my schedule to make sure I could take care of myself and my family. It can be stressful. But every job can. It takes a certain type of person to be able to handle this job. I happen to be that type.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Consumer Cellular.
It was a relaxed group interview. After the interview, they called and I was then offered the position. However, now they hire through temp agencies and do not do direct hiring for the customer account adviser position.
