Continental Cares and the Revitalize MKE team helped over 20 homes in Milwaukee during the annual Revitalize MKE Block Build. Many team members, volunteered time to help out families in our local community. Hear directly from those who participated!

We have created an atmosphere where team members are encouraged to share their ideas, develop their careers in a way that utilizes their passions and skills, and contributes to our success. We work hard because we enjoy what we do and the people we work with. We strive for a highly engaging work environment on a daily basis. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has honored Continental as one of the Top Workplaces six times!
Our team is made up of people who share the qualities that reflect our core principles, but who have very diverse perspectives. Our success comes from deliberation, debate and absolute honesty. Every team member is encouraged to challenge the status quo while also taking personal accountability because we know that every position within the organization influences our outcomes.
Great careers don’t happen – they’re built. They’re built when talent, ambition, and drive meet in a vibrant working environment.
At Continental, we provide that environment - an environment built through tireless efforts to ensure our team has the right people, with the right skills, taking on exciting challenges. It is reinforced when our people are empowered to do whatever is needed to do the job right. It is solidified when the best and the brightest in the industry are given opportunities to learn new skills, take on bigger challenges, and advance within the organization.
I have been working at Continental Properties full-time (Less than a year)
I have only been here for about 7 months, but I absolutely love working here. My favorite part about this company is the people. EVERYONE around you wants you to succeed including my team, those outside of my department, and even the CEO. Your opinion and feedback is valued and actually taken into consideration by executives at the company. I am constantly thanked and appreciated for the smallest tasks, which really means a lot, as well as says a lot about our company culture. Managers take the time to get to know each employee in their department, and strive to ensure that their career aspirations are achieved. I could not be happier that I chose to join this company, and I look forward to what the future holds for Continental!
Not necessarily a con, but some people may not be able to adapt to our pace and expectations. With the industry we are in, we must continue to raise the bar each year to succeed. With that being said, the environment is very fast-paced and expectations are high for each and every employee.
Advice to Management
Continue to take employee feedback into consideration when making decisions/changes, as that is what seems to allow us to continue to be so successful!
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Continental Properties (Milwaukee, WI) in May 2016.
Interview process was close to 6 weeks long and involved a video interview, in person, phone, another phone, another video then a 7 hour flight out to the corporate office after working all day to interview the next day (which I had to take the whole day off of work) with 5 people 2 of which were in a loud busy airport where I was scheduled to take my return flight home (another 7 hour flight). 10 interviews in all and over 30 hours of my personal time plus missing an entire day of work to be told the next week they were going to go with someone with lease up experience.
