I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Conversant.
A recruiter reached out to me to conduct a phone screen. I was given an overview of the company and asked questions about my current position and my interest in Conversant. The screen went well and was very informative. I was invited to another phone screen with a hiring manager for the position that I was applying for. The second phone screen went great, as the interviewer seemed passionate about finding the right candidate for the position. The interviewer gave me the opportunity to ask questions and continued the interview session with questions about my current role and skillset. The screen was supposed to last about 30 minutes but went well over, as the interviewer was very thorough. At the end of the interview, the interviewer said that I was a good candidate and said that I would definitely be invited for the face to face interview. I received an invite to the third interview which took place at the Conversant office. My first interview of was conducted via Skype. It consisted of typical interview questions and I was given an explanation of that interviewer's employment history with the company. My second interview was with a member of the team. I was again asked about my current role and my skillset. My final interview was with a head of the department. I was asked basic interview questions and given a logistics test. The logistics test was a brain teaser. I left for the day and wasn't contacted immediately so I reached out to the recruiter whom told me that they decided to go in a different direction. I was very disappointed as I thought I had done extremely well on each interview. I was knowledgeable about the company and was careful to answer each interview question to the best of my knowledge. After the process I received a personalized email from the hiring manager that explained that I was a strong candidate and the basis of their decision. I appreciated and respected the explanation. I will apply for a role with Conversant again in the future.
