I worked at Cook Out part-time (Less than a year)
You learn to work in a face-paced environment, and work with a team. I think it is a great first job to have to learn hard work. Even though most people do not think fast food is hard work, try working lunch or dinner hours at Cook Out, you will be sweating.
Low pay, but what can you expect from a fast food chain.
Very late hours sometimes. Was scheduled to close then open a few times, which means I didn't leave till 3, and had to return at 9
I applied online. I interviewed at Cook Out (Clarksville, TN).
Easy enough process. Problem was they misrepresented what they were hiring for in the help wanted ad on Craigslist. They advertised for a Manager which was actually for Asst. Manager. Offered wage advertised was $40-70K. Actually was $12/hr. Stated you were required to work 52.5 minimum but should work 60+ hours to get close to the $40K. Wanted you to work for weeks in each area including dishwashing, cook and counter and "test out" of each area. Total scam job. Would never start employment on such a total misrepresentation. Would not want to find out what else they are not truthful about.
