I have been working at Cooke School and Institute as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working here it is very obvious that everyone wants the best for the students. The teachers and therapists go above and beyond and the administration is willing to listen to ideas and suggestions.

    Cons

There is such a large range of different students at the school that it makes it difficult to teach to the classroom or the individual child. You have to be really creative to make sure all of the students are receiving the attention that they need.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Cooke School and Institute in August 2010.

    Interview

I interviewed with well informed people who were a pleasure to talk with. It was readily apparent that they were kind and caring professionals who dedicated to their craft. I was impressed with their wonderful facilities as well. Upon seeing the teachers in action, I was surprised at how engaged the students were.
