At CDC we are always thinking about the community, and so are the brands we carry. Corona Cares and Food Bank of the Rockies are teaming up this year to help families in need! From Nov. 1- Dec 15th, Corona USA will donate 50 cents for every case of Corona sold to #FoodBankOfTheRockies! #CDCBeerScene
We are excited to share our new website! We have been working tirelessly to update and evolve our digital presence in 2018. Thank you so much to Spire Digital for all of their help and guidance. Check out the new site!
Founded in 1971, Coors Distributing Company (CDC) started as the distributor for the Coors Banquet brand in the Denver Metro area. We began by distributing 16 SKUs via our 14 trucks, with the support of our 50 employees. Since then we have grown to nearly 400 employees, 98 delivery trucks, over a hundred sales vans, and an advanced warehouse picking system. CDC has also evolved with the dynamic Denver market, expanding our beer portfolio to over 31 breweries, hundreds of different brands, and thousands of SKUs.
We are an operating division of MillerCoors but operate independently, building strategies and making decisions locally for our business. We believe this structure gives us a competitive advantage as it gives us insight into how breweries operate while also affording us valuable tools and resources to deliver excellence every day.
Our distribution territory spans from Boulder to Monument, and from Evergreen to Limon. View our territory map here! (see our Service Area map for specifics) We sell our products directly to bars, restaurants, liquor stores, grocery stores, convenience stores, sports and entertainment venues, and specialty licensed events.
Do you want to work for a company that values well-rounded teamwork? Do you value career advancement opportunities? Do you desire best-in-class benefits? Here at Coors Distributing Company, you will have all those things and much more. Plus, you’ll be working in the brewing industry—one of Colorado’s strongest and most exciting business sectors.
CDC strives to promote teamwork in all areas of our business. All 400+ employees play an intricate role in distributing our beer into the Colorado market. We all collaborate to price, prepare, sell, and deliver our 32 beer brands to thousands of liquor retailers statewide. From the moment a case of beer enters our building, our 5 departments work hand-in-hand to make sure our consumers are able to enjoy beer as much as we do. Whether through cross-departmental communication or simply lending a hand where needed, CDC can accomplish this with teamwork.
Employees at Coors Distributing Company are all valued assets of the team and strive to better themselves and grow the business together. We happily offer in-person and online training opportunities, as well as continuous, personalized feedback from managers to better prepare you for the job you want. The ultimate goal here at CDC is to promote from within whenever possible and help our employees reach their full potential. Aside from the career opportunities at CDC, there are also endless opportunities with our parent companies MillerCoors and Molson Coors. Those with a passion to grow and advance within the beer industry are encouraged to apply internally to those organizations as well.

At Coors Distributing Company, we are passionate and committed to our employees and our community. We encourage all employees to be involved and engaged in our various teams; these teams not only aid the company, but give our employees an extra opportunity to contribute and develop additional skills or experiences to be successful. Our FUSION Employee Council focuses on three key areas: diversity & inclusion, community outreach, and internal performance development through a “future leaders” track.
Each of these groups has annual goals and projects focused around one of these three areas. For example, CDC partners with various non-profit organizations such as St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Mile High United Way, and over 50 local charities in Colorado. Internally, the teams create a Wall of Wins highlighting departmental and individual monthly “wins” and celebrate many diverse groups through hosting themed happy hours and various events throughout the year to educate, build awareness and engage employees.
One of our fundamental focuses at CDC is keeping our employees safe and our building up to standard through our “Target Zero Program”. We have created a number of teams that focus on ensuring zero injuries in the workplace and complying with OSHA regulations. We believe that all injuries are preventable and our goal is to make sure that we are creating an environment where employees can leave work the same way they arrived and we do this through empowering every employee to be a safety leader to ensure they are able to go home to their friends and families in safe manner.
These safety teams are comprised of cross-departmental individuals to promote and maintain a safe workplace; they meet monthly to collaborate, brainstorm and take action in their area(s) of expertise. The eight teams are: Target Zero, Emergency Response, Machine Safety, Safety Inspections, Ergonomics, Electrical Safety, Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), and Lock Out Tag Out Try Out. Where some companies “talk” a lot about safety, we empower employees to be safety leaders, to take action and help influence change through our Near Miss and Eyewitness program that both recognizes those who go above and beyond, but also commits to organizational change, to actually address the safety hazards and concerns that are brought up by our great employees.
I have been working at Coors Distributing Company of Denver full-time (More than 10 years)
I have been at Coors Distributing Company for about 16 years and could not be happier with the decision I made to join this team so many years ago. Many places offer great pay and benefits (which CDC does); it is the people who make the difference at CDC. All levels of managers and employees are willing to put their ego aside and do whatever is needed to reach our goals. The teamwork, passion, and drive everyone demonstrates to reach our common goal is anything but common. I also could not be more proud of all the philanthropic causes CDC supports. Whether raising money for St Jude’s, United Way, or supporting hundreds of other charities that matter to our customers and suppliers, CDC employees give back in force with their time and talent. If you are looking for more than a job, give us a look!

I applied online. I interviewed at Coors Distributing Company of Denver (Denver, CO) in October 2014.
Very comfortable interview, 2 people asking background questions, mechanical questions, and a general walk through of the facility to show me around the place. Was assured that I had the position if i wanted it, and there was no guess work left to question. Was told to start the following Monday, and began a few weeks training.
