Today is a big day for Deanna Dorsett, affectionately known amongst many of our colleagues as “Mom”. After being a cherished member of the Corbins Family for the past 22 years, Deanna will be trading office life for retirement life. We want to thank Deanna for her diligence and drive in watching over and caring for those she worked with throughout her tenure with us. You will surely be missed, but never forgotten. Congratulations and we hope you enjoy your travels and time spent with family.
Thank you! And GO DUCKS!
Help us welcome Joshua Rafeld, our newest Tool Department Manager to the Corbins Family. Coming to us with more than a decade of retail store management, Joshua is eager to leverage his previous experience in inventory management to increase the visibility of Corbins’ assets, specifically tools, and organize those assets to be efficient and productive. As Tool Department Manager, Joshua coordinates and supervises all aspects of tool department operations including the maintenance, documentation, tracking, and fixing of all Corbins’ tools and equipment. One of his favorite things about being a Corbins employee is the person-centered culture that builds TRUST with teammates, partners, and our customers. “I heard that Corbins Electric was a great place to work. With our daily huddle meetings there is a community approach that I have yet to see elsewhere. It caters to building strong rapport and relationships within the company that feels like a family”. Outside of work, Joshua can often be found working on his latest car project, watching movies, and spending time with his son Rowan.
I have been working at Corbins Electric full-time (More than a year)
The culture at Corbins is amazing. I truly feel like I have opportunities to learn, grow and make an impact (on the company and within the industry). I feel like Corbins is an extended family where I am valued employee and not just another number.
The nature of the business is cyclical so there are some ebbs and flows - however, that is fairly standard for construction industry as a whole
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Corbins Electric (Phoenix, AZ) in January 2017.
Easy going. They do not go much into detail. Be firm for the salary mentioned. They will agree to whatever you ask for as they need a lot of folks currently.
