Mission: To be the most valued marketer of fresh and broadline supply solutions to the convenience retail industry.
I worked at Core-Mark full-time (More than a year)
Lots of hours, good pay, good benefits, plenty of over time, but that's about it, not much more good about this job
Long hours, 12-14 hour days minimum, management is crap, very unorganized, inventory is a wreck, they don't know where half the product is
Applied online. Position was first opened a year ago, applied for it and never heard anything. Position once again came open. Applied for it again and heard back from HR. But... "While your skills and background are impressive, we have decided to proceed with other applicants who more closely fit our needs at this time."
So let's get this right: high school diploma needed (I have grad school) and 1 year of merchandising experience required (I have over 3 years plus 8 years of sales experience). Canned email response after applying for the position TWICE (last year and this year). Any women doing this job? Would love to see if there are any in the field.
This holiday season, we would like to thank our #CoreMarkFamily, who drive #CoreMark to be one of the largest distributors of fresh produce and packaged goods to the convenience retail industry. Thank you! #ThankfulTuesday #CoreMarkLife
