    Pros

Small company feel, employee-friendly culture, flexible hours, good benefits, and management that really cares about the staff. I get along really well with co-workers.

    Cons

Most management works the majority of the day at a secure SCIF so communication with them is limited during most business hours.

    Advice to Management

Try to secure some new government contracts that will provide greater versatility for staff to move onto for career growth, and have better rates for staff.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Cornell Technical Services (Columbia, MD) in October 2014.

    Interview

I had a technical phone interview with a senior level manager (chief operating officer), followed by an in-person interview with the same person as well as an owner of the company. They made me feel very welcome and already part of the team. The interview was very well done and they knew what kinds of skills they were looking for and asked the right questions.
