Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others.     I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Corporate Brokers (Annapolis, MD)


    Several rounds of interviews. I interviewed at Corporate Brokers before, perhaps their process has since changed. Many interviews from their standpoint to really find the right fit, I respect that. However, I believe as a staffing company such competencies can easily be defined early on. If your a fit for this industry, its great. I did not get an offer, and at the end of the day it would not have been the culture for me. Again, I appreciated the feedback regarding their reasons- you don't get that often. At the same time, said reasons should be identified off the jump, from a staffing company....for an HR role...
