Mission: When you work for CCS you get to make a difference every single day.
One of the many ways you can help victims of #HurricaneHarvey is through the CCS Dare to Care program. Through this fund, you can help fellow CCS employees in Texas who are experiencing difficult times as a result of the hurricane.

Correct Care Solutions is a public healthcare company serving the healthcare needs of patients in corrections environments, state psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers and more. Our 11,000+ employees feel part of something bigger than themselves because of the care we provide to an often underserved population.
That's because you join visionary leaders committed to improving public health. Our Founder and Chairman of the Board, Jerry Boyle, spent over 15 years working to improve correctional care management. Since then, he's helped CCS grow strategically through acquisitions to ensure we can continue to lead into the future.
Deliver patient-centered care
While working in a corrections or state psychiatric environment may sound intimidating, it is actually one of the safest work environments for a health care employee. Unlike an emergency room where a provider doesn't know the mental, emotional or physiological state of their patient and may be exposed to potential harm, our environments are controlled and secure. Providing care in this type of environment is rewarding and interesting work that our employees love and take pride in.
Close knit, family-like environment

CCRS assumed operation of South Florida State Hospital in 1998, including the transition of existing qualified staff. Prior to the partnership, the aging facility had never achieved accreditation, provided custodial care, and was facing a class-action lawsuit concerning patient abuse and poor conditions. Within 10 months of assuming operations, CCRS achieved Joint Commission accreditation as well as simultaneously beginning the development of a state-of-the-art replacement facility on the same campus.
CCRS assumed the operation of the South Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center in 2005, including the transition of existing qualified staff. Prior to the partnership, the facility provided only four days per week of clinical programming, lacked evidence based practices, and maintained a punitive treatment approach with high rates of restraint and seclusion. Upon assuming operation, CCRS introduced the recovery culture and treatment approach, implemented the Minkoff Dual Diagnosis program, initiated Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training for all security staff, developed active individualized patient treatment plans, and implemented technologies to improve patient care and staff efficiency. The clinical programming was increased to seven days per week, including hours, and CCRS virtually eliminated the use of restraint and seclusion.

I have been working at Correct Care Solutions full-time
This company is making revolutionary changes in forensic and correctional medicine.
As with any kind of changes, it takes time, commitment and team work. There are still a few "nay-sayers" on board, but they are coming around and can see the benefits of the changes.
Advice to Management
I am honored to be a part of the team and I am amazed at the miracles that I see every day. It is my hope that we have raised the bar in the standard of care for all persons served.
I applied online. I interviewed at Correct Care Solutions.
Did not complete the process. Was impressed with the HR screening interview in response to my online application, and was pleased to get a call back to schedule a telephonic followup with a senior staff member. That interview was rescheduled three times to accommodate the staff members "family emergency." No problem with that. Then the company ghosted me completely. Stopped trying to reschedule, wouldn't answer email, just stopped communicating. After six weeks, they sent me a form letter to let me know the position had been filled. I don't mind not getting the job, but I do mind getting strung along like that for a senior position. If this is the level of caring demonstrated by management and HR, I probably wouldn't have been a good fit anyway. I'd suggest other job hunters consider as well.
