I worked at County of Sonoma full-time

    Pros

The county benefits were great and the SEIU local union was very active and supportive. Manager really seem to care and take interest in your opinions and thoughts

    Cons

Hated the commute. No BART service and bus service is limited. Had to drive from the county where I lived and traffic on Highway 101 is always congested with a daily accident.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at County of Sonoma (Santa Rosa, CA) in January 2017.

    Interview

You spend hours thoughtfully completing their screening questionnaire. Then you get a boiler-plate email setting up a time for an interview. No call. Then you get a disclaimer email alerting you to the extensive and overly intrusive background check process.
