I have been working at Crabtree & Evelyn part-time (More than a year)
Flexible hours, wonderful coworkers, clean and safe working environment. Decent pay for a side job (a little under 10/hour). Not physically demanding, which is a huge plus for someone with back issues like me. One of the nicest-smelling places I've ever worked.
When slideshows on new products are sent out, they are often filled with spelling and grammar errors, or are missing pieces. Upper management is not usually responsive when needed, and technology failures are rampant.
Advice to Management
Hire more district managers so that customer issues requiring a DM can be resolved in less time. Also, update your technology, and find some that doesn't break so often.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Crabtree & Evelyn.
Hiring process was very smooth and quick. Interview was easy. Interviewer was casual and informal. We joked a lot throughout the meeting. Questions were easy to answer as they were pretty standard. Some were more theoretical (ex.: how would you handle a situation where...). All in all, not stressful.
