I worked at Crayola full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good work-life balance, great brand with a strong purpose in the world. Good company mission. Focus on moving people around the organization for development.

    Cons

Definitely a strong focus on product, product, product and rapid push to market. Not much consideration for resources required to bring everything to market or impact on teams work. Heavier investment in some areas of the company versus others.

    Advice to Management

Continue to ask tenured and experienced people in the organization for what needs done. Flashy answers from a new hire or someone with prestige aren't always the correct answers.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Crayola (Forks Township, PA) in July 2015.

    Interview

Mostly basic interview questions about my past experiences, what my programming skills were, and discussions about what type of projects I would be interested in working on. Overall a very relaxed and pleasant interview experience.
