Our goal is to add value to the lives of our members, employees, and the greater community. To do that, we believe in acting a certain way. We are inclusive, friendly, competent and accountable. We treat everyone fairly and with respect; identify and provide solutions our members can trust; strive to make decisions in the best interests of our current and future members; stay focused, wisely allocating our resources, and actively support the communities we serve. Our employees all have the ‘Help Gene’ in their DNA.
We look for and hire employees who share similar traits. They are cooperative team players who know how to focus on our members. They are eager to help and adept at solving problems. And they are both action-oriented and adaptable. We expect a lot of you and you can expect a lot from us.
To attract the best and brightest talent, we offer something pretty great in return. We start by providing the peace of mind that comes from being a financially-stable and secure company. Then, we foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace where employees have the opportunity to continually grow, learn and develop.
We believe in having fun, rewarding our employees for their contributions and empowering them to make decisions and take action. We advocate for our employees, encourage an open-door policy for any workplace issues and make our decisions based on member needs, not bottom lines.

At the time our credit union was founded in 1934, it was known as Colorado State Employees Credit Union. In the early days, only active state employees could be members. A lot has changed since then, and today we are known as the Credit Union of Colorado, a name that better reflects our broad and diverse membership.
With more than 80 years of experience serving members, we’re proud of our strength, stability, and history as a member-owned financial institution. And we’re equally excited for what’s next.

Advice to Management
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Credit Union Of Colorado.
The interview itself was good. Went extremely well. I was told after the interview it went very well and that their only concern was my other job. They asked that I took the weekend to discuss with spouse and other employer and let them know. I called first thing Monday morning to let them know that I would make the hours work and that I would change availability at my other employer as we discussed.
I left a message Monday morning..no return call. I called back Thursday of the same week..no call back.
I finally called HR the following Monday to see what might be going on. Was told the position was filled.
No issue not getting the position, I do have an issue with not getting a call back after going to my other employer and changing my schedule for the opportunity to work here. I did what I was asked and couldn't even get a call back to say they went a different way ( though was told I was wanted for the position).
Unfortunately we've been a member for 15 years but will now pull all of our deposit accounts. I'd prefer not to do business with a company that can't bother return a phone call.
