Becoming part of the Crew Team isn’t easy, but it sure is worth it. After hiring the best Team Members in the service industry (no experience required), we provide the training and coaching that our Team Members need to succeed. In addition, we provide great benefits.
As a Manager in Training starting out with Crew Carwash, you'll discover that we've hired you to eventually run one of our locations. Promotions are based on performance, not seniority. We look for energetic individuals who are goal and career-oriented.
You'll be assigned to a location in your area and the training begins. You'll learn valuable business skills from capable mentors who may once have been in your shoes. Nearly 50% of all our managers started out in this program. During your first year, you will participate in all areas of our business. As you progress, you will be tested and evaluated to determine your proficiency in these areas. Successful completion will result in promotion potential and pay increases.
On average, you can expect to be promoted to an Assistant Manager within 12 months. At completion of your Assistant Manager certification, we'll evaluate openings in your market and determine placement. Your own initiative and capabilities, coupled with your ability to think on your feet will dictate how fast you advance.
Support Center Opportunities
We have occasional openings at our Indianapolis Support Center for different types of roles. We have staff working with customer service, accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, purchasing, information technology and a variety of other responsibilities. Opportunities also arise for maintenance and support roles in every market where we operate. I have been working at Crew Carwash part-time (Less than a year)
Many benefits including biweekly free washes (works, ultimate), competitions between crew members for cash prizes and more that I can’t think of at the moment. Great training for regular employees and managers. The managers at the location I work at are very proficient and have high accountability for their actions. Crew does not keep management staff who don’t follow their vision ( a good thing).
Nothing outstanding, the only thing I can think of is you need to stand all the time during your shift, that’s about it.
Advice to Management
Try to have set goals with specific dates for new associate training based on how many days they work. There is a variation on training times especially (ie: some employees get trained much later compared to others for no specific reason)
I applied online. I interviewed at Crew Carwash (Indianapolis, IN) in May 2015.
The initial interview is over the phone and they will want to know more about you, if you are able to work a reasonable amount of hours, ect. (They will not hire you if you cannot work at least 1 year at Crew).
