    Application

    I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Croner-i.

    Interview

I went to the assessment centre via the recruiting company Pareto. I found cooperating with Pareto to be somewhat difficult eg having to constantly (at least 3 times) having to confirm my attendance for the assessment centre. There were some discrepencies between the information I had been told about the day vs what actually happened. I had been told that there were 25 applicants, this actually turned out to be 40. The assessment centre starts off with a presentation about the company. Then in alphabetical order we stood up, said our name, 1 celeb we would like to represent and our greatest achievement. After this you are split into groups and complete two group tasks (see interview questions). In the first task you are emulating the celeb you mentioned earlier, you and the group are on a life boat and half of you must die, you need to convince the others why you should remain eg what you can bring to the group. The second task is ranking items in order of importance for survival in a desert. Then we have lunch. Unfortunately this is where everything goes downhill. Because there were 40 people, there was not enough lunch for everyone, and more importantly the day was dragged out. We all have to sit in a room (4 hours approx) whilst we are being interviewed one by one. You are then separated into different groups, according to whether you have been successful.
