CrossCountry Consulting is a trusted business advisory firm that provides customized finance, accounting, HCM, risk, operations and technology consulting services to leading organizations facing complex change.
We partner with our clients to help them navigate pressing business challenges and achieve goals related to improving operations, minimizing risks and enabling future growth.
People are the cornerstone of our company, and our success relies on their development and retention. Our culture reflects an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive environment that motivates individuals to always strive for the best outcome and enjoy what they do.
Our Core Values
We are guided by four principles that reflect our commitment to our clients and to each other. We hire and develop dynamic, driven people who share the same values, enthusiasm and pride in their work. By doing this, we ensure that we leave a positive mark on our clients, our community and our industry.
Our Vision: A Better Experience… for Our Clients… for Our People
Five years ago, we shared a vision for creating a distinctly new type of advisory firm, one that would bring the best aspects from our Big 4 and Arthur Andersen roots along with an unwavering commitment to building the right culture.
Our practice is based on what we call the “better experience model” which is reflective of a commitment we have to our clients and to our people.
We agreed that the company’s culture would be the most important asset and success factor leading to the recruitment, retention and loyalty of some of the best people in the industry.
From the beginning, we set out to not grow for growth’s sake; instead, we believe in hiring the right people that fit our culture and continuously developing them into great consultants. If we can do this, growth will take care of itself.
We strive to provide our consultants with a better experience by providing a meaningful work-life balance, challenging work opportunities and continual investment in them, both personally as well as professionally.
We also recognize that each of our clients have distinct and unique needs and challenges. To provide a better experience for our clients, we make sure to listen to their needs, listen some more to ensure that we are a true partner that can design customized solutions to fit their individualized and specific set of needs.
This is what we believe sets us apart from our competitors. Our “better experience model” is more than a corporate value – it’s a part of our DNA as a company.

I have been working at CrossCountry Consulting full-time (More than 5 years)
Most companies that go through period of large growth will suffer as a result. Here, they have done a great job at maintaining the culture - the thing that makes CrossCountry unique. The leadership team really is engaged - they truly do care and regularly interact with employees at all levels. You never feel like you are left out there alone. I've had some of the best career guidance that I've ever had while working here - not just how to excel on a project, but how to be a better consultant. There are so many great consultants here that you can always learn something - whether that is client management skills, technical skills, team building skills, etc.
It is a consulting company - so you will have some long hours, you will have difficult clients, but this is what consultants do. They pay overtime, so you know if you have some extra hours that you will get compensated for it.
Advice to Management
Keep focused on the culture - the company is still growing quickly and I would hate to see the culture fizzle away.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CrossCountry Consulting (San Francisco, CA) in October 2017.
Recruiter - Informative
1. Phone Interview with Recruiter
2. Skype Interview with Technical Lead
3. In person interview (3 people at separate times for 2 hours)
4. Skype Interview with head of HR
All in all, the process was great. The interviewers had good questions, but kept the interview in more of a conversation dynamic. Very friendly and easy to talk with.
