I worked at Cryptic Studios full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Definitely a very comfortable place to settle at. Lots of people there have families and you can depend on being able to leave consistently on time. Hours are very flexible and the people are very warm and easy to talk to. Overall just very safe and mellow work-wise and cultural-wise.

    Cons

Although very comfortable, it was too comfortable and not challenging for me. The work got very boring and repetitive very fast, where the tasks were essentially recycling the exact same pattern/recipe over and over and over.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Cryptic Studios in October 2017.

    Interview

A coding challenge was sent after a few email exchanges with the recruiter. The test is timed and you are expected to finish in 6-8 hours. If you do not complete within the given time don't worry too much, still submit the finished code. Waiting to hear back from the recruiter.

    Interview Questions

    • Be very good with string manipulations. Learn how to use doubly linked lists and how to manipulate elements inside a 2-d array/matrix and you should be good.   Answer Question
