    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Cultural Care Au Pair full-time

What I love most about this company is its mission and its values. Nothing gets sacrificed when making a sale. Cultural Care values community, honesty, transparency, and communication; but it also values its people: employees, families, and au pairs alike. Cultural Care does the most it can to ensure that everyone joining its program is joining with the right intentions, and the company - at its very core - really believes that bringing au pairs and host families together is the best way to build global families. I look forward to coming to work each day, because I know that I'm going to have the chance to positively impact someone's life. I look forward to coming to work each day, because I know that I'm going to be able to help people. I look forward to coming to work each day, because I care for the families and au pairs that I work with; but I also am cared for and supported by my coworkers, supervisors, and upper management. Since beginning my career, I've never questioned this fact. I really feel like I'm a part of something spectacular here - I'm a part of a family.

Apart from this, the culture at Cultural Care for employees is unbelievable. The company invests in its employees - we have meetings each month with management as individuals, as teams, and as a company, to ensure that everyone feels supported and empowered to succeed. We are encouraged to succeed, and we are supported when we don't. At this company, there is no shame in failure - only encouragement to try again. I truly feel that I'm constantly being provided with tools for my own professional development and success. The company also plans events for employees to engage in and bond with one another to promote the growth and development of relationships. I. Love. My. Job.

As with anything, there are good days and bad days. Whether it's dealing with a frustrated parent or au pair, receiving less than ideal news from the department of state, or having to walk someone off of the program, not everyday is perfect. But, what I can say is that my worst day here would be my best day working anywhere else. I feel so supported, motivated, and encouraged by the people around me to succeed that it's so easy to see the positives, even in a less than ideal day.

    Advice to Management

Please continue doing what you're doing, because I love it.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cultural Care Au Pair (Cambridge, MA) in May 2019.

The first two interviews were online. After that I was invited to the office for three more interviews. And the last step was a phone interview with mock calls. All the interviewers were great.
