Pros
I've been at Curology for over a year and have truly loved my time here. While no job is perfect, I have never felt so challenged, inspired and excited to work everyday. + Curology has a really differentiated product that actually WORKS and is better than the competition. There is so much potential with Curology, our challenge is just to make sure more people know about us! I'm very confident that our new CEO will help step change Curology's growth, and feel very good about our future. + Most importantly Curology improves lives. We have a "kudos" Slack channel where our providers post feedback they get from our patients, and hearing about how we have directly helped people is really inspiring. Acne is a very serious thing that can have deep emotional + psychological consequences, and Curology helps people regain their confidence so that they can live a better life. + Very smart, humble and collaborative team. Little to no ego. People are fun, interesting and enjoyable to work with. + Super flexible remote company; leaders really trust their employees to get work done on their own time (most of the leadership team are working moms). This is especially amazing for working parents who are able to block their calendars every day to pick up their kids, etc. + Unlimited vacation, and they mean it (people actually take it!)!
Cons
Curology definitely has growing pains right now as we transition from a start-up to a bigger more established company. + Roles & responsibilities can be vague, which can create cross-functional confusion. + We are slow to get things done on the tech side (though actively working to improve this!) + Tighter budget control and more processes are a cultural shift from where Curology was, but necessary to make sure our future is bright
