Not only is Tina very passionate about the work she does in the community but she also takes great pride in her employees and the hard work they do day in and day out.

In a recent interview Tina was asked "What inspires you every morning" and her response was simple "Making CyberCore the best place to work, getting us to the next level and consistently thinking of ways to make our company better for our employees!"

I have been working at CyberCore Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

After 17 years I left government work in 2000 so I have been a contractor for as long as I was government. I have worked for about 6 contractors and CyberCore is among the best. They offered me a very competitive salary on a stable contract and I hope to retire as a CyberCore employee.

    Cons

None that I can think of. When you work in customer spaces, they leave you alone and that works great for me.

    Advice to Management

Not much. I'm not a real dress-up person so I would like to see some of the company functions be more casual. One summer there was a picnic type thing but I haven't seen that the last few years. I can do without a dress up Christmas party. Ribs and volleyball at Patapsco ST Park would be nice one summer.

    Senior Software Engineer Interview

Anonymous Employee in Annapolis Junction, MD

    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at CyberCore Technologies (Annapolis Junction, MD) in January 2015.

    Interview

It was great! I received a LinkedIn message and the recruiter sought me out because he had a position in mind for me. The position was exactly what I was looking for technology wise. The recruiter then told me that he prequalified me for the LCAT (years of experience, degree, etc). He told me if I was interested, my salary would be $185,000/year with 4 weeks PTO and 10 Federal Holidays. It was kind of a no-brainer to go on the interview just to explore an opportunity.

    Interview Questions

    • They didn't ask technical questions, more of a get to know each other kind of meeting. The company benefits / culture was discussed as well as the other contracts.   1 Answer

    Negotiation

There was not to much negotiation, once I got the job an offer letter came to my inbox with the exact dollar figure we had discussed in the interview.
