I have been working at DC Comics (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It's a great group of people. Great, great executive team. There's definitely a sense of family here, should you choose to join in. Benefits are decent as it is part of Time Warner.

    Cons

There aren't too many down sides but getting promoted is not their forte. It might be because everyone wants to work here, and no one's leaving. Ha! But really, it's tough to advance.

    Advice to Management

As mentioned, the executive team is fantastic. President Diane Nelson is tops, even inspiring. The lower management, while good, are not without their faults. RECOGNITION for work achieved would be a great place to start.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at DC Comics in March 2016.

    Interview

Standard interview process. First round with HR rep, second with hiring manager, and third with hiring manager and editor in chief.

Everyone was very professional and amiable. The recruiter was very helpful through the entire process.

The interviews with the hiring manager and the editor in chief were pretty informal. Questions weren't wrote, by more about my personal interests and experiences.

    Interview Questions
