I worked at DDG full-time (More than 3 years)
You get to work on unique international projects, of immense scales with colleagues from around the world. It is truly rewarding
Sometimes you have to put on long hours to meet the ambitious deadlines. Sometimes you get asked for ridiculous changes on the very last minute
Advice to Management
Encourage employees personal lives after 5pm
I applied in-person. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at DDG (Baltimore, MD).
The Interview begins with a pre interview at ddg. You get to walk around the office and see Architect teams working on projects, be it mixed use, huge master planning in areas. DDG architects presentations are out of this world. Great use of graphics, 3 dementional models, renderings. The catalog we use was a work of art even down to the ecologically correct ink and paper.
It was a take it or leave it nine thousand above my current pay as a Trade Specialst but missing the pension as a State Employee.
