I have been working at DEG (Kansas) full-time (More than a year)

    - DEG takes pride in its employees and truly has a work-life balance which is rare to find in KC
    - Several culture club events
    - Great PTO and vacation policy
    - Amazing people
    - Good benefits
    - Great leadership

    - The "extra" program, which is a bonus, needs to have a better explanation of how it is calculated. But they seem to be improving on this.
    - Recently acquired and while the forecast seems good, I'm still skeptical on how much it will change the DEG I know.
    - Processes in place, aren't always followed which can cause headaches to others.

    Advice to Management

Keep putting your associates first, and do your best to sustain the DEG we have always known through this acquisition phase.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at DEG (Kansas) in April 2017.

Received a random phone call from the recruiter with no advance notice and did my best to answer her questions without any preparation. Had a second interview with the hiring manager a week later. It was a nice conversation. The questions weren't overly difficult but also had time to prepare. Had a third interview with a few team members a week after interviewing with the hiring manager. Many of the same questions.
Asked recruiter for email addresses of interviewees to send a thank you note and never heard back. Seems the position was filled but never received notice either way. I would hope that a smaller company/agency with in-house recruiters would do a better job of communicating before and after interviewing... so that was a bit of a let-down. Otherwise, seems like a nice company to work for.
