I worked at DES Architects Engineers full-time (More than a year)

Best weather by scientific survey. Right next to the county jail, which guarantees that it is safe. A mixed bag really. Some of the staff is actually awesome and display a great deal of care towards others.

They hire through staffing agencies and have low level to high level associates that are sociopaths. Seriously, one HR manager is dishonest, another PM freaks out when she doesn't get her way. The adjustment through Revit was difficult for them.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DES Architects Engineers in August 2012.

I saw their job post on Craigslist and sent in my resume and cover letter. I heard back from them a little over a month later. When they contacted me they asked if I could come in the following week for an interview and I did. The interview was rather short. I was interviewed by the head of the department and her assistant at the same time. I wasn't made aware that I was going to be interviewed by two people for the interview, so I was a little surprised by that. It took less than 15 minutes and the interview was rather informal. For the most part, they asked me basic interview questions and told me to tell them about myself. After the interview, which seemed kind of rushed, they offered me a quick tour of the place. Once the tour concluded I was told that they are looking to hire someone for the position within the next couple of days and that they would let me know by the end of the week. Even though I had a rather pleasant interview experience with them, I felt that it was unprofessional of them to never contact me to let me know that I was not chosen for the position. .
