At Digimind, we help our clients understand the world as it is. To do so we need the best talents and experts to join us and help us shape the world of information.

Mission: In 1998, the web was just starting and there was very little information available. It was the moment when the idea for Digimind emerged, and our mission was clear: to build innovative technologies helping our clients turn those scattered pieces of data into insights. Two ... Read more

I have been working at DIGIMIND full-time (More than a year)

I'm a fan of honesty and, having worked in the US office for more than a year, I'd like to be honest. Yes, there has been a fair amount of ups and downs over the past couple of years. The company itself is based in Europe so when it came time to branch to the US it was a learning experience for them. I'm happy to say that currently, things are looking great!

While in the past there was a lot of turn-over on the US sales team the plan right now seems to be steady growth based on domestic income. Basically, you perform well you're fine! I'm in business development and I have a direct line of communication with the entire US team, including our VP of North America. If you're a team player and actually want to be part of a growing team (unlike some of the other reviewers who simply wanted an easy ride) then you will find never-ending support and growth potential.

Sometimes it does feel like we are being mico-managed by our European counterparts. Working remotely does mean you need to try a bit harder to maintain communication. Steady growth also doesn't lead to rapid promotion (something that is all the rage in the US SaaS space). Also, would be nice to see a bit more spend on quarterly team gatherings to help build culture.

    Advice to Management

Paris: Give the US more freedom to do what we need to do to operate in our market.
US: Continue to invest in the happiness of your team. Listen and adapt as we grow. Let's not repeat the past.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in New York, NY

    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at DIGIMIND (New York, NY) in August 2018.

Digimind does seem like a very compelling product. I started off with a phone interview with their recruiter which went well. She then had me interview with one of their senior sales reps.

That's where things began to break down a bit. That interview went well and he boosted my confidence in the company. I say it broke down because there seems to be a big disconnect from their Corp office in Paris and their NY office. I was surprised when he messaged me that he was told at the very last minute about my interview with him . Bad form

On to the VP! I was emailed about setting up a time to speak the following week. I responded back immediately with my availability. Nothing back from him and when I called Tuesday he was very abrupt and treated me as if I was interrupting him. Not any knowledge meant that he had not responded. He said he was working on scheduling my 2nd interview for Friday or the following week.

logically I called back Thursday to see if we can firm up a time for Friday or early next week and YET AGAIN he presented as if I was interrupting his day. He obviously found a candidate he liked better but didn't have the professionalism to simply say that. Needless to say I told him that I was pulling out of further consideration and he didn't seem phased.

Overall this company seems to be a disconnected mess.
