I have been working at DLC Consulting full-time (More than a year)
My tenure/experience with DLC has been great as DLC offers (in no particular order): 1) Great benefits (work life balance, paid bench time, bonus incentives), 2) Great project opportunities (client/industry diversification), 3) Great online resources (Skillsoft and CPE credits), 4) Great culture, 5) Great vision/outlook (Thanks Tom!), 6) Great colleagues/mentors (Consultancy Advisory Board, New Hire Partner Program, etc.), and 7) Exceptional internal/corporate staff.
Commute is a common theme in this section, however, it's not really a big deal given my experience with client service work at a Big4 firm.
Advice to Management
Thank you DLC for providing me with the necessary tools and resources to be successful in both my personal and professional development. Additionally, thank you for treating me with the utmost priority and for always being available to address any/all of my questions and concerns. Lastly, and above all else, thank you for always recognizing my efforts (championing the DLC brand, professional credentials, etc.) and for allowing me the unique project opportunities that are outside of my comfort zone to broaden and enhance my skill-sets.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at DLC Consulting (Los Angeles, CA) in September 2014.
A series of interviews were administered until I accepted the offer. First was an interview over the phone then a one on one with various parts of the internal staff; I met with recruiters, I met with client service director and I finally met with CEO. Experience was very great, very casual. They asked solid questions of my experience and I was given the opportunity to ask questions.
