    Interview

    Ghosting and lying seems to be the Dabella way. These guys have been filling up my inbox the past few months begging for me to apply, and once I did, they ignored my calls and emails, then lied about receiving any correspondence from me. They called and emailed me on a Friday morning, and I promptly called back and replied to the email within two hours. By the end of the day Monday, I heard nothing back so I again left a voicemail for the recruitment manager, and replied once again to the email I received. Wednesday rolled around, and still no response. I emailed again, and this time got a rude response from the recruiter saying, "I never got any voicemail from you. The position has already been filled." This is a bald-faced lie, and there are two reasons why I know this:
    1. Within an hour of me leaving a voice message for the recruiter, I was notified that DaBella had reviewed my resume. Someone looked at it right after I left a voice message out of coincidence? I doubt it. The recruiter got my message and reviewed my resume, then chose to not respond to me.
    2. DaBella has an inner messaging system that they can read within the confines of their own website. I messaged the recruiter multiple times using that system, and they are all viewable. I was told by the recruiter that I could either email or call to set up an interview. The recruiter not only lied about not hearing my voicemails, but also is too dim to understand that my messages are all time-stamped and dated -- I guess the recruiter is denying I sent messages too?
    I spent over an hour applying for this position and taking their psychological quiz, and to be ghosted and lied to at the end of it is completely unacceptable. I called DaBella to report this recruiter, and they took my complaint and transferred me to someone else as they promised to call me back on the issue. Guess what? No one has called me back. This company is clearly dismissive and rude, and I shudder at the thought of how they treat their employees if this is the way they treat incoming talent.
