    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dallas Symphony Orchestra (Dallas, TX) in January 2012.

    Interview

After I submitted my resume to the Hiring Manager, a group interview was scheduled. I found out that not all prospective employees who submitted a resume were invited to this group interview. I had also been internally referred by an employee. At the Group Interview, there were about 12 of us, and the two supervisors gave us a list of about three questions to answer in a popcorn group discussion forum. This went on for about an hour. At the end of the interview, the last question was to say something positive about the person on your left, so it was beneficial to sit to the right of a talker.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

No negotiation available; all part-timers started out at $10/hr.
