    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

    Interview

I applied and interviewed for 2 different clinical secretary positions. The first clinical secretary position I did not get an offer for but made it through 2 rounds of interviews. The second clinical secretary position I only went through one interview. The interview for the second position involved meeting with the hiring manager for the department and also one other team member. They asked me general interview questions such as my strength and weaknesses, why I was looking for a career change, what I look for in a leader etc. Then I shadowed with the team I would be working with for about an hour. The shadowing was definitely the most interesting part and really gave me a knowledge of what the job entailed so that I could make a decision as well as them if it was a good fit.
