I have been working at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center full-time (More than a year)
Working with top notch doctors and residents who are brand new, lots of resources and room to grow. So many chances of growth because the organization is so large, with hard work, dedication and being responsible, one can move up to their potential a lot quicker than working in a small outfit.
In some departments, long term growth hits a ceiling, but with the organization being so big, the chance to move on and grow can actually happen quickly.
Advice to Management
Reward the hard, loyal workers who leave it all on the table week in and week in. Make is so much less hard to discipline or terminate the ones who don't do the above. A good employee here wants to do their best, wants to do the right thing when no one is looking, we want to be the best and give the best care possible to our patients.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (Lebanon, NH) in May 2017.
Interview with both HR and the clinical team working in the department. The entire process from start to finish was just under a month. Overall what I gained is so much more than what I had to go through to get it.
