Good technical back office with some willingness to travel to difficult places.
The "good technical back office" really had no clue about the field work and customer requirements. HR completely out of touch in the aspects of balancing field workers with the back office. Good intentions executed poorly.
Advice to Management
People in third world countries do not had opportunities to take leisure days, aka, personal time so it would be better to bundle leave with sick and personal time. Upper echelon stubbed their toes not listening to the customer requirements. Again, well-meaning, but deaf.
