The people I worked with cared about my development as a professional. Working within one industry offered a path to becoming an 'expert' in the field fairly quickly. The firm is poised for huge growth and is looking for employees to build a future with. Paid well.
Working within one industry can get repetitive and confining even for all the benefits it provides.
I applied through college or university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Dauby O'Connor & Zaleski (Indianapolis, IN) in September 2014.
Campus interview followed by office visit. They were one of the smaller and less intimidating firms at career fair, and most of the staff they brought were alums of the university. On campus interview was the day following career fair, followed by office visit a few weeks later. The interview was mostly me selling myself to the firm, and the office visit flipped that structure.
